Discover The Raj Palace

The city's first royal mansion, built in 1727 by Thakur Mohan Singh Ji. Once the Chaumoo Haveli, now a world-renowned luxury palace hotel, it blends Rajputana heritage, Mughal architecture, and the timeless art of royal hospitality.

Where History Becomes a Home — The Raj Palace Story

Hidden amidst the pink hues of Jaipur stands The Raj Palace, a world where time pauses and history whispers through every marble corridor. Once the royal residence of the Chaumoo family, this 18th-century mansion is the oldest palace in Jaipur — built in 1727 by Thakur Mohan Singh Ji, Prime Minister of the princely state of Jaipur. What began as The Chaumoo Haveli evolved over centuries into a symbol of Rajput glory and Mughal refinement.

From Royal Residence to Living Heritage

In 1995, the royal family of Chaumoo embarked on a loving restoration to transform their ancestral home into a luxury heritage hotel, ensuring its soul remained untouched. Every arch and column was revived using traditional craftsmanship. The palace's 70 opulent Museum Suites earned The Raj Palace the honour of being the World's First Museum Suite Heritage Hotel.

A Royal Experience Reimagined

Its architecture reflects a harmonious blend of Mughal grandeur and Rajput artistry, where delicate jaali screens, scalloped arches, and mirror-clad halls create an atmosphere of timeless luxury. Guests can dine like maharajas in the Swapna Mahal Restaurant, unwind in The Royal Spa, or stroll through fragrant courtyards and Charbagh gardens where fountains still sing beneath the stars.

The Promise We Uphold

At The Raj Palace, every guest is a royal guest, and every moment is an invitation to pause, reflect, and live within a story. We don't just preserve walls and artifacts — we preserve memories, reverence, and the art of hospitality.

When you cross through our gates, you step into history — not as a spectator, but as part of its continuing journey.

Because here, Royalty is not remembered.
It is relived.
