A. Royal Welcome
The Royal Welcome is the welcome accorded by the Royal family for their
Royal counterparts and special guests since generations. The welcome
starts with the guests being received 200 yards away from the palace
by a elaborate procession of Elephants, camels ,horses with men holding
flags and Mashal, This procession escorts them to the main hotel entrance.
The entire area is decorated with special Rangoli on floor, flowers,
Red Carpet, century's old drums and the Bakia (grand trumpet). The whole
atmosphere is like a dream setting. The guests are further honored by
applying Tikka (A special maroon color round mark applied with a finger
in the center of forehead it is the biggest symbol of honor in Hindu
custom)
The guests are garlanded with fresh flowers garland the guests then
enter the main palace to reach the red platform. From where they view
the magnificent façade of the palace. The guests assemble here
witness a saluting welcome with 21shot fire rider A Loud announcement
of each individual guest name is made by the Dyodi Van ( A men entrusted
to announce names of guest entering into the palace ).

To
welcome the guests there is a big group of folk performers that includes
a group of men each playing different folk musical instrument of Rajasthan
in alternate Jharokas of the front façade of the palace and also
on the roof of the left and the right side of corridors. They play their
instruments to the same song and synchronize their music. On this music
there is a group of Rajasthan folk dancer women, all wearing different
colorful costumes and are positioned in the alternate Jharokas of the
front palace façade and their main performer performs at the
Central Chaupar.
Also there is a group of procession musicians along with escorting welcome
dancers who walk along with the guest who is taken under the Royal Umbrella.
The guests are served with a special welcome drink.

Royal Gala Lunch is the special theme Lunch of The Raj Palace where
the guests are accorded with a Royal Welcome.
The guests then enter the main palace to reach the red platform from
where they view the magnificent façade of the palace. The guests
assemble here to be further individually escorted under the royal umbrella
along with dancing ladies and musicians to their seating venues where
they are served with special welcome drink in one of the gardens of
the palace.
The Lunch is preceded with a folk dance program during which the best
of artists who have performed internationally display their art and
skills. The guests are served snacks during the folk entertainment program.
After the entertainment guests are served with a lavish buffet Lunch.
The guests are served Tea and coffee with Puppet show and finally a
royal see off is accorded
B. Shamiana Lunch

Shamiana
is an overhead beautiful Tent laid in one of the gardens of the palace.
The Raj Palace is the first hotel to introduce this new theme. The Shamiana
lunch is the special theme where the guest are accorded with a Gala
Welcome with different entertainment at four different areas to finally
reach the Maharani Bagh lawns where the royal Shamiana is laid for them.
This tent takes few days to get decorated. The guests sit on specially
laid tables and chairs with covers, frills and ribbons from where they
watch the entertainment folk dances and enjoy them by dancing themselves.
The lunch is laid out as buffet. Every lunch has exclusively as different
themes are chosen for these Shamiana.
A. Gala Dinner
A lavish Indian styled buffet dinner is enjoyed to the accompaniment
of Indian music & folkloric entertainment. Guests participate in
all the revelry & dances. The dinner is preceded with a folk dance
program during which the best of artists who have performed internationally
display their art and skills. The guests are served snacks during the
folk entertainment program concluding with a elaborate show of fireworks.
After the entertainment guests are served with a lavish buffet Dinner.
The guests are served Tea and coffee with Puppet show and finally a
royal see off is accorded.

Royal Gala Dinner
Royal Gala Dinner is the special theme Dinner of The Raj Palace where
the guest are accorded with a very special Royal Welcome. In Welcome
event the guest are received at the hotel gate with saluting Elephant,
from here they escorted to the reception gate where a camel and horse
are standing in their honor and loud drum and trumpet are played to
announce their arrival with dancing Bhopa. The guests are further honored
by applying Tikka (A special maroon color round mark applied with a
finger in the center of forehead it is the biggest symbol of honor in
Hindu custom), A Jhilmil aarti is performed ( a pyramid of small lit
oil lamps is shown. As per the ancient Indian Vedas fire is a mark of
time as the image due to light stays for ever and the guests are garlanded
with fresh flowers garland.
The guests then enter the main palace to reach the red platform from
where they view the magnificent façade of the palace. The guests
assemble here to be further individually escorted under the royal umbrella
along with dancing ladies and musicians to their seating venues where
they are served with special alcoholic cocktail as a welcome drink.
The dinner is preceded with a folk dance program during which the best
of artists who have performed internationally display their art and
skills. The guests are served snacks during the folk entertainment program
concluding with a elaborate show of fireworks.

Grand Royal Durbar Evening
The Grand Royal Durbar Dining is the royal theme Dinner of The Raj Palace
where the guest are accorded with a Royal Gala Welcome followed with
a special welcome drink. The venue is decorated with special flower
decoration & elaborate illumination.. The guests are served Bar
be Que snacks during the folk entertainment program. We have one of
the finest nationally renowned folk artists who perform along with their
troupe consisting of folk dancers and singers
The entertainment program is concluded with a spectacular show of fireworks.
The Guests are later served the Durbar Dinner in Silver Thali's (platter)
in which more than 30 dishes are served.
The meals are followed by a Marionette show by special artists who are
performing since generations during which tea and Coffee is served and
then the royal see off is accorded.
B. Kebab E Bahaar
Kebab e Bahaar is a very interesting theme of Raj Palace where we welcome
the guest outside the hotel gate with Aarti Tikka and Garlanding, old
drums and the Bakia (grand trumpet).
Later inside they are served Welcome Drink, To welcome the guests there

C. Exclusive Swapna Mahal Dining
In this dining we receive the guest with Aarti, Tikka, garlanding, Dhol
and Nagara welcome and then serve them Exclusive TDH Buffet Dinner in
Swapna Mahal restaurant where the whole venues is booked exclusively
for the group
D. Bazaar Mein Daawat

This
is a special theme evening event of The Raj Palace where we try to recreate
the old Royal markets where the Royal family used to shop it was a tradition
to get the market to the palace.
It was supposed to be the biggest honor for a seller if the family hence
a bazaar used to be laid in the palace lawns accepted his produce we
create the same bazaar for our guest.
Then they can enjoy the whole Bazaar as well as the Entertainment program
that will go on the Central Square simultaneously the people can enjoy
the shopping which can be mock or real (As Per your suggestion). This
theme is finalized in consultation with the guest, as these can be mock
or real shops.

E. Royal Rajput Mock Wedding
The wedding party of the bridegroom arrive with a stunning tableau of
elaborately caparisoned regalia of Elephants, camels, lines of soldiers
mounted on horses, A band of musicians, men holding oil torches, with
an environment of pomp and color the guests lead to the entrance of
the palace. Here girls dressed in Rajasthani costumes sprinkle rose
water and shower raised petals on the guests. The waiting brides family
receives the guests & traditional welcome is held.
The bridegroom dressed in his Rajasthani wedding attire carrying a sword
arrives along with wedding party on the Elephant he is accorded a special
welcome the moment he enters the palace. The bride arrives from the
front steps of the Palace carrying a garland with girls accompanying
her. The Bride and the Bridegroom then change garlands with showering
fireworks. The wedding ceremony is performed under a pavilion. (We call
it Mandap for Pheras).
After the Pheras there will be cake-cutting ceremony with Champagne
toast and Fireworks After that they shall proceed for Dances and Dinner
